Your situation

Too many jobs end with a second visit

A site visit for a port forward
The site is on 4G or Starlink, behind CGNAT. That is carrier-grade NAT: the site shares a public address with many others, so nothing can be forwarded to it. The port forward you drove out to set up cannot work.
The control room cannot connect
You hand a site to the control room, and the first call is that they cannot reach the recorder.
A camera down nobody noticed
A camera stops answering, and the first anyone hears is the client, weeks later, asking for footage.
Nothing to show for the monitoring
You charge for monitoring, but at the end of the month you have nothing in your own name to show the client.

What changes

Plug it in, choose the devices, hand over one address

The box connects out over an encrypted tunnel, so there is nothing to open on the site's router and no static address to order.

  • Once powered, the box shows Online in the portal and finds the cameras, recorders and controllers.
  • Each device you choose gets one address and port that stays the same, even when its address on the site changes.
  • The box checks every device every minute, and the portal alerts you when one stops answering.
  • Reports go out under your name, logo and colour, to you or straight to your client.

What stays the same

The control rooms you hand sites to. Monitoring software that connects by address and port can use it.

The cameras and recorders. We hold no device logins, and the box does not change them.

The site's router. The box takes an address from it by DHCP; nothing is opened or forwarded.

Inside the site The site's router and switch, the Relayant box and five devices on one network. The box sweeps the network; the camera, recorder, controller, printer and UPS light up one after another and each is given an address and port. Router Switch Relayant box Relayantbox Camera 10.0.0.21:554 Recorder 10.0.0.30:80 Controller 10.0.0.40:502 Printer 10.0.0.50:9100 UPS 10.0.0.60:161
The box sits on the site's network, searches it and lists each device with the address and port your control room will use. The addresses shown are examples.

The features that matter most

What an installer uses on every job

Boxes and ownership

A box belongs to the organisation that bought it. The code on the label is not a secret, another organisation's box is refused, and a lost box is refused everywhere.

Device health

Every device checked every minute, a hung camera told apart from an unplugged one, and a single missed check does not raise an alert.

Reports with your branding

Your logo, name, accent colour and contact details on every report. "Produced with Relayant" can be switched off.

Alerts and acknowledge links

A device that stops answering is reported by email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the alert is acknowledged from the message itself.

How it fits

It fits the way you already work

The control rooms you already work with
Give the control room each device's address and port. Its monitoring software needs only that, and device faults can reach it too: see alerts and alarm signals.
Your stock of boxes
The portal shows every box you own: in stock, at a site, lost or retired. A box can be registered to you before it arrives.
Hardware already at the site
No box? The software agent runs on a Linux PC, a Raspberry Pi or a router you own, and does the same job.
Boxes the control room owns
We sell to control rooms. A box the control room owns can be registered to it before it arrives, and you install it at the site. The control room's reports carry the control room's brand.

A day with Relayant

What an installer's day looks like

An example, not a customer's story.

  1. Morning

You fit a box at a farm on Starlink: a LAN port on the router, and power. It shows Online and has found the cameras and the recorder.

  2. Late morning

From the truck you choose the recorder and the cameras the control room needs, and email them the addresses and ports. Nobody drives back to open anything.

  3. Afternoon

A camera at another site stops answering. You get the alert by email and acknowledge it from the email.

  4. The first of the month

Each client's report goes out with your logo, showing what you watched, what failed, and when each incident was acknowledged.

Which plan

Relay for access; Relay + Alerts for alerts and reports

Relay gives you the remote access. Relay + Alerts adds alerts by email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, acknowledge links and monthly reports under your name. See the plans.
