Relayant and camera makers' P2P clouds
Hik-Connect, Hik-Partner Pro, DMSS and DoLynk Care come from the camera's maker and show its devices on a phone. We built Relayant for a control room that reaches every device by address and port. Here is where each fits.
What they are good at
The maker's app shows its devices on a phone, from anywhere
Hik-Connect is Hikvision's app and web portal for Hikvision devices: live video, intrusion alarms, intercom, access control and attendance, for households and small businesses. Hik-Connect for Teams adds devices by licence, with no need for servers or VPN infrastructure. DMSS is Dahua's app for individual users: live view, playback and alarm notifications on a phone.
The installer-facing services add more. Hik-Partner Pro gives Hikvision's partners health monitoring and remote maintenance of Hikvision devices. DoLynk Care gives service providers health monitoring of Dahua systems, a notification when an error is detected, re-checks after a fix, and maintenance reports.
Where they fall short
A control room connects by address, not through an app
Each of these is from Hikvision's or Dahua's own pages, read on 13 October 2026.
- Your monitoring software cannot connect by address
- A maker's cloud is used through the maker's own app or portal. Your control room's monitoring software connects to a device by address and port. We give each chosen device one address and port that stays the same.
- Device faults do not arrive as alarm signals
- None of the pages describes sending a device fault to a control room's monitoring software as an alarm signal (SIA DC-09). DoLynk Care's "Connect with ARCs" lets a customer apply for a service from an alarm receiving centre (ARC) near them. That is a way to request a service, not a path for device faults into the ARC's monitoring software.
- Health monitoring is a purchased package
- Hik-Partner Pro's health monitoring is a purchased package, bought in its Service Market or as a service key from a distributor. Devices on old firmware, or of a type the platform does not recognise, cannot be covered.
- Each service covers its maker's devices
- Hik-Connect and Hik-Partner Pro are for Hikvision devices. DoLynk Care describes Dahua systems. None of the pages describes checking devices of other makers. Our box finds and checks devices of any maker.

"Not described" means exactly that: the vendor's pages, read on the date shown, do not mention it. It does not mean the product cannot do it.
About alarm signals
Our alarm signals are supplementary fault signals. They tell your control room that a device has stopped answering, has a fault, or that a site’s network is down. They do not replace the alarm panel’s own communicator.
When to choose them anyway
One maker's devices, watched by the owner and the installer
Choose the maker's cloud when every device at the site is from one maker. The people who need to see it are the owner and the installer on their phones. Live view, playback and push notifications are the whole job. The maker's app does that, and nothing has to be added to the site. If the installer sells one brand and wants that brand's health service, Hik-Partner Pro's package and DoLynk Care are built for exactly that.
Our box suits mixed sites, and a control room whose monitoring software must connect by address and port. It suits a device fault that must arrive as an alarm signal, and one report a month that covers every device at the site, whoever made it. We do not look at video; the maker's app still has that job.
