We ship you a box

Plug the Relayant box into a LAN port of the site's router. It takes an address by DHCP, dials out, and shows Online in the portal.

For any site. The Relayant box

You have hardware at the site already

Install the software agent on a Linux PC, a Raspberry Pi or a router you own. It is the box's own software, and it finds and reaches the same devices.

For sites with a spare Linux machine, a Pi or an OpenWrt or Teltonika router. The software agent

The site is on Starlink or 4G

These networks almost never give a site a public address, and the box does not need one. The box or agent dials out, so CGNAT makes no difference.

For farms, quarries, construction sites and anywhere the only internet is satellite or mobile. Starlink and 4G sites

In common

Every way ends in the same place

Whichever runs at the site, the portal, the setup codes and the monitoring are the same. Your control room sees one list of sites.

  • One portal and one kind of setup code. A box's code is printed on its label; for software, the portal issues one.
  • The same device search, the same checks every minute, and the same one address and port per device.
  • Only outbound internet is needed: fibre, DSL, 4G, 5G or Starlink.
  • Nothing is opened or forwarded on the site's router.
Three ways to place Relayant at a site Relayant runs at a site in one of three ways: as a Relayant box on a LAN port, as the software agent on a Linux PC or a Raspberry Pi, or as the software agent on the site's own router. Each dials out through the router and the site's internet. Box on a LAN portBox Box Router Agent on a PC or PiPC or Pi PC or Pi PCor Pi Router Agent on the routerRouter Router Internet
At a site, the Relayant box sits on a LAN port, or the software agent runs on a PC, a Pi or the router itself. Each dials out through whatever internet the site has.
